Spaghetti salmon wasabi avacado
Spaghetti with salmon wasabi avacado
A new School term has started~
let's whip up something nice for my "rusty" brain today.
(Rusty, it may seem but I've been brainstorming for topics and wacky ideas almost every other day)

This is a simple to make brain boosting (booting) healthy recipe specially catered for hardworking student like you and me~

I came up with this recipe one hungry afternoon. You'd probably not find this weird fusion dish any where else.

It only takes me half an hour to make.

Avocado Salmon Wasabi Lemon
Salmon wasabi avacado
and lemon
Ingredients (serves 2):
  • One ripe avocado~ it should feel soft yet firm to the touch
  • A magical yellow genie bottle that contain unlimited amount of freshly squeezed lemon juice. (if you dont have a yellow genie bottle like this, just get a lemon will do) okok.. you can get this Poka lemon 100 from Daiso but im reusing this bottle to store my squeezed lemon juice.
  • One small piece of salmon fillet
  • Wasabi ( Im using wasabi tube. Is difficult to get fresh wasabi in Singapore)
  • Spaghetti 2 serving  (measure it with your hands or you can use measuring tools like this)
  • Salt and Coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Butter

Directions:
Spaghetti

  1. Prepare a pot of water and bring to a boil
  2. Add in a tablespoon of salt
  3. Throw in your spaghetti (Make sure they are all drowning in the bubbling water)
  4. How long? depends on what kind of spaghetti you are using and what you prefer. (I prefer my pasta to be Al dente but the cook time is hard for me to grasp)
Avocado and Wasabi sauce
  1. Pit and skinned your avocado
  2. Mash it or blend the avocado into paste
  3. Mix in a good amount of wasabi and a few drops of  lemon juice
Salmon
  1. Lightly season the fillet with salt and black pepper
  2. Heat up your butter in a skillet
  3. Place the salmon skin side down
  4. When the skins starts to turn brown and crispy flip it over
  5. Seared the flesh side of the salmon .

Plate it up, add a few drops of lemon juice on your salmon fillet and you are done~
The wasabi nearly blew my head off~  Booom~ Lolx.
Super Brain booster Avocado salmon Omega 3

豆知識(mamechishiki)-Bean knowledge = trivia
Salmon and avocado both contain rich amount of omega 3 fatty acids in which they are the essential building blocks for a healthy brain.
And since my green Avocados friend is not an animal it does not contain any cholesterol!
So dont worry~

Heh.. I should have done this review earlier.. anyway... If you are a herbal soup enthusiast. If you are looking for a dining place where your old folks can enjoy. then this might be it~ Soup Restaurant is a Cantonese themed eatery that offers Heritage Cuisine that were served in the Chinatown night bazaar in the 1960s~ Soup Restaurant's cantonese name sam zhong leung khin (三盅 两  件 - three bowls two dishes), is a derivation of a popular Cantonese expression  yat zhong leung khin  (一盅 两  件 - one bowl two dishes) which signifies a relaxed lifestyle of consuming teas and dim sum dishes at tea houses in the early morning.
