Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw are always on the top of list when it comes to creating scientific models for journal publications. These software can be expensive. Especially when designing isn’t part of your main business and you only need occasional graphical illustrations. So~ the question is: Do you really need a paid software to create high quality illustrations? The answer is simply no. As you can see... Mind map is a graphical visualisation technique used by many to simplify complex concepts. It can also be used as a tool for brainstorming. Heavy rainfalls.. water ponding.. zzz. Dang.. my usb thumb drive got drenched! and now it's dead. Considered myself lucky as I was not given any holiday assignments. I've always been fascinated with collage artwork. Be it text ( word collage ) or pictures. Long gone are the days where we need to do all the manual cutting and pasting. Now most photos were digitally edited and kept as a digital photo book. Some of you may be wondering how your friends are able make these wonderful photo montage on Facebook or Photobucket? How were they able to put several pictures into one image? Did they use some kind of digital photo editing software like Aperture or Photoshop?
